There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day and being met by a hot dinner, ready to eat. Many times during my week, I really don’t feel like cooking, but it’s also too hard to go out to eat with an infant right now. So, I whip out the amazing crockpot, my go-to for quick and easy dinners. Simple crockpot beef stew hits the spot! This is a great simple recipe for us busy moms (or dads). You deserve to come home to this delicious crockpot beef stew!
Makes about 6 servings.
Ingredients for Crockpot Beef Stew:
- 2 lbs beef stew meat (cut into 1 in cubes)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 or 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
Instructions:
1. Put your beef stew meat in the crockpot.
2. In a small mixing bowl, put in your flour, salt, pepper and mix together. Pour over the meat and stir it so that it coats the meat.
