Home Depot Kid's Workshop Review - We had a great time!

Home Depot Kid’s Workshop Review

Does your child like construction, putting things together, crafting? Well, the Home Depot Kid’s Workshop is perfect for your littles and older ones too. The Home Depot Kid’s Workshops are one of my favorite activities because they’re FREE and FUN!  You don’t want to miss it 🙂

Everything you need is included!

Home Depot does a great job getting everything ready for the kid’s workshop. If it’s your first time, you get a workshop apron upon your first visit. They write your child’s name on it and you wear it every time to collect the commemorative pins they give you after completing your project.

This workshop is held every first Saturday of the month. If there’s a Saturday where you don’t know what to do with the kiddos, this is always an option. It’s from 9:00am – 12:00pm. You can arrive anytime in between (don’t worry it’s not a 3 hour workshop). It’s nice take your time on a Saturday if you want to sleep in a little, but who gets to sleep in with kids?! Ha…in my dreams. ;P

When your child has finished their project, they take it back to the Home Depot Kid’s Workshop registration table and receive their commemorative pin and free certificate of achievement for a job well done. I like to keep all these certificates in a small binder when I get home so they can see them later.

The best part about the Home Depot Kids Workshop is…

And all this good stuff for FREE! What a win-win for everyone! Great quality and fun time with the kiddos.

The kids love taking their projects home and painting it; so the crafting continues! I typically use acrylic paint for these projects, which you can get at your local Target, Wal-Mart, Michael’s craft store.
