Maxine’s Raw Chocolate Coffee Bites

Sugar-free dessert! Satisfying my sweet tooth without the sugar! Woohoo! Will have more sugar-free or sugar substitute recipes coming soon! Warning: has caffeine…might keep you up =)

Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 8-9 pitted medjool dates (1 cup)

Toffee layer:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 7-8 dates

Chocolate coffee layer:

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 3 T cocoa powder
  • 1 date
  • 1 heaping tsp instant coffee powder or grinded coffee beans

Instructions:

  1. Blend layers separately and press into a brownie pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. Freeze for at least 2 hours for setting then slice into small pieces.
  3. ENJOY and be HAPPY! =)
